Tarot for Noticing
A reflective companion for the 78 cards of any tarot deck you enjoy. Find the card you drew, read the territory it might be pointing to, and keep what fits.

You are not a puzzle to solve.
These cards offer a way to notice what is happening, find language for it and ask a different question. They are invitations, not instructions.
Take what opens something.
Leave what closes you down.
There is no single neurodivergent experience. Your attention, sensory needs, energy and ways of making meaning are welcome here.
You can follow a pattern, take a tangent, read literally or begin with an image. You do not have to recognise yourself in every prompt.
A card cannot diagnose you, reveal another person's thoughts or decide what happens next. Let it open a possibility, then check that possibility against your lived experience.
Not everything is yours to changeWhen something is difficult, consider the conditions around you as well as your response. A need for support is not a failure of insight.
Make it your practice.
Use with a tarot deck you enjoy. You do not need to memorise the meanings or read every section.
Begin with something real
Choose a moment, a question or a feeling. Try: What needs my attention here?
Notice before you look up
Draw one card. What catches your attention? An image, a word, a reaction or nothing yet can all be starting points.
Explore the overview
Core territory offers themes. Emotional territory offers possible feelings. Where it may show up connects the card to everyday life. What may be developing suggests possibilities. Shadow territory explores a difficult expression, not a bad person. The tension holds two truths together.
Let the question do some work
Use the Notice prompt. Ask: What fits? What does not? What else could be true?
Close without fixing everything
Keep one observation, question or small action. You can write, sketch, speak it aloud or simply let it sit.
Choose a card face up if that feels easier. Skip a prompt, stop early or return later. There is no catching up.
The Fool's Journey.
Twenty-two cards. One human story. The Major Arcana is a map of movement, growth and becoming. It's not about getting it right. It's about meeting yourself along the way.
You are never "at" one card forever. The cards simply help you notice where you are today.
The Four Suits.
Four lenses. Four kinds of questions. One bigger picture.
- AceBeginningA seed. Potential. The start.
- TwoChoiceA decision. Connection. A crossroads.
- ThreeGrowthExpansion. Creativity. Momentum.
- FourStabilityStructure. A foundation. A base.

The journey of the numbers is a universal story that unfolds in every suit.
I wonder… New perspective. A willingness to learn.
Let's go… Momentum. Drive. A focus on what's next.
I feel… Intuition. Care. Nurturing what matters.
I sustain… Wisdom. Leadership. Long-term vision.
The meanings shift with the question. Use what's true. Leave the rest.
Practices and spreads.
Five ways to work with your own deck, from one card and one word to an eight-card exploration. When a card comes up, look it up in Cards.
One day. One card. One word.
Some tarot practices ask you to go deep. This one asks you to go quick. Pull one card, read the day's question, then notice the first word or short phrase that arrives when the card and question meet.
- Pull one card
- Read the day's question
- Notice what lands first
- Capture one word
- Leave it. You're done.
Don't polish it. Don't look for the clever answer. That tiny moment before interpretation kicks in is where we're playing.
Missed three days? Twelve? Twenty-seven? Nothing has gone wrong. Pick up at today. There is no backlog in an intuition practice.
Your One-Card Calendar.
Each day, pull one card and use the prompt for that date. Let your intuition lead. There are no wrong answers, just daily moments of curiosity, care and possibility.
What deserves a little sunshine?
Three Cards. Your Call.
Built around confidence and self-trust. Not confidence as being loud, certain or fearless. Confidence as knowing what you notice, what you need and what you want to do next.
Choose three words for today. Pull one card for each. Read them separately, then notice what happens when you put all three together. Try a trio that shares a letter:
- AAsk · Act · Allow
- BBattery · Boundary · Beware
- CChoice · Courage · Claim
You are allowed to trust your own read.
31 Days. Many You.
Use the three words for the day as a guide, or let your intuition lead. Read each card separately, then notice what happens when they come together. Use the prompts, or make them your own.
Ask · Act · Allow
A Place That Fits.
An exploration of your needs, your energy and the conditions around you. Choose one situation to explore. Draw eight cards and read them in pairs. You can pause after any pair.
- The DoorstepWhat am I carrying before this situation even begins?
- The WindowWhat sensory input needs turning up, turning down or changing?
- The Coat HookWhat do I feel I must perform or hide to be welcome here?
- The WorkbenchWhere does the way I am expected to work clash with how I actually work?
- The GreenhouseWhat interest, pleasure or way of thinking makes me feel more like myself?
- The Resting PlaceWhat rhythm of effort and recovery fits my capacity now?
- The Shared TableWhat support could I receive without first proving I am struggling enough?
- The GateWhat could change around me so belonging costs less?
What is the load?
What is the hidden cost?
What sustains me?
What could become shared?
Choose one change to the conditions, one support to ask for or one source of joy to protect.
